Absolutely stunning in every aspects! Best Mac game I have ever played!

Love the theme, humour and radiant style graphics. The ability to set up the alien path adds another layer of strategy. The in-game purchases arent all that expensive and are worth it.

great game awesome graphics and its way cool for just killing some time (or in my case avoiding finishing homework) anyway ive got a project to do, back to mah game!!! :P

One of the best tower defense games ive ever played!

This game rocks. Its good for killing time OR serious gaming. It involves a great deal of strategy, and makes your mind work. Mind you, it doesnt mess around with an easy mode. It can be very challenging. It does "sell" a tiny bit (the upgrade packs) but the upgrade packs are relatively very cheap, and you can beat the game completely without them. ($0.99 each.) I LOVE the graphics, and I havent encountered any glitches or bugs. Its also funny. In between waves (It is a tower defense) the characters badmouth each other and it is funny. I REALLY REALLY recommend getting this game, ESPECIALLY because IT IS FREE. As in FREE. Anyway, it is a great game and I congratulate Hexage for making it.

this is an awesome FREE game, yes people it is a really fun game that is legitimately FREE, and its not a demo!!!!! its a real, actual, enjoyable game that you can keep playing for FREE!!!! so rare these days!!! that said its not a completey unique find. it does have some in-app purchases, and i lose respect, tolerance, and patience for any games and game developers that throw a, "free," game at you that basically is designed to lure you into making purchases or is very difficult/impossible/too frustrating to beat without purchases. ive just started the game and thus far have gotten along fine without any purchases. thats why i only dropped them one star for this skeevy behavior. ive read one reviewer who says its impossible to beat without the purchases, another reviewer who says it can be done. if i can beat it without the purchases, ill make this 5 stars. if i cant, this is going to 2. as long as it doesnt bug me too much about buying something, and doesnt try to get me to tie in social media. lol. "games" these days huh! on to the game itself. for a free game that does have in-app purchases, 4 stars is great from me. the dialogue between the characters is funny! the gameplay and strategy is quick and simple to understand, while the levels themselves prove to be a pleasant but not-too-frustrating challenge. i can see that with my progression itll likely become considerably more difficult, but its a tower defense and i wouldnt expect less. the graphics are beautiful. it even has fun little extras, for example youll spot a little dancing alien you can click on the main menu screen, and they add one for every 100,000 points you get. fun little things like that make the game stand out. it doesnt mess around with two types of currency either, a popular trend among app games these days to encourage users to spend actual money-- usually on one type of game currency that buys the legit stuff. this game doesnt do that. one type, that you earn and burn through the simple gameplay. there are no strings attached here, the game really isnt a money tease. its a great game. i recommend it whether you plan on spending money or not…. ESPECIALLY if youre a td freak :)

The layouts and the monsters get really challenging as you go along. The guns and defensive measures are easy to setup and upgrade quickly and youll sometimes have to do the levels over and over to get the right defense.

This game is really fun but level three is impossible to beat without buying the full version. There are certain weapons that you cant use if you dont buy the full version and its impossible to beat the game without them. The app store makes it seem like the whole game is free but its really not. overall it is a really fun game but i wish that i could get past level three!!!!!!!!

I like this game. Its part puzzler part… um fighter? A puzzle/strategy game. Like it. The graphics are good, you probably will need an upgrade/in-app-purchase. I dont mind because I like the game and I want to support it and the pricings reasonable considering how nicely done I think the game is. Try it for free and decide if you want to support with an in-app-purchase.

This FREE game is alot of fun to play. The visual burst of colors really make this game entertaining to play, not to mention the nice music! I actually like the pleasant techno vibe of playing this game as well. It has much to offer and is worth a try!

This game is really awesome, especially for being a free game, which usually arent the best. Radiant Defense is a full version game of strategy and skill and while it is indeed possible to pass levels without the iAPs it is certainly more difficult if you dont know how to strategize. This was the first game I got after purchasing my mac one year ago and I am still incredibly hooked!! Great game for a great buy, even the iAPs are worth the 99 cents. No running issues, no obvious bugs. I am running on 11-inch mid-2011 macbook air.

The graphics on this TD game are really good I love the bright colors and as the name inplies "Radiant". The playability is good, a little bit more help on the tutorial would be good but, its not that you cant figure the things out. Maybe the blocks would have been good to point out you click one again to take it go away then can see the path of the aliens re-map so you can place it somewhere else. As far as it being "free", its really very good at being that. Some small "in App" purchases are not bad at all, the developers have to make some money on it after all. I have played 5 levels so far and have not even needed any of the purchases so I think its a more than fair submission as a "free" game app. I am finding it to be one of the really better TD games available for Mac OS right up there with "Starfall"… I would say definately download this and play it, if its not worth making some small $.99 "in apps" when you get to the point if you need them its a small price to pay and you can always just stop. I generally avoid games with "in App" purchases but my main complaint is the ones where you have to keep buying Coins/Gems or whatever over and over again to keep playing, this is not at all like that. I am really enjoying it, no glitches on my 6 year old iMac running Lion, I am quite pleased and impressed! Well done indeed!!

I just wish there were more levels. The buyable upgrades are inexpensive and worth it.

The game is very fun and requires a bit of strategy. A very bright and colorful entertaining challenge. I would recommend it. Having said that I would like to share my thought that, calling a game free that cant be beaten without purchasing upgrades should be stated by the maker. Their description implies the game doenst need the add ons to be finished. Im just frustrated with "advertising" that leads one to believe one thing when quite another is true. Better to just come out and call it a trial than to tell people it can be played for free and that "add ons only enhance gameplay". Tell us that we wont finish the game without dropping 4 bucks. The 4 dollars was worth it for me because the game really is cool. The following may come off as arrogant to some, its not my intention to offend. One of the few games I purchased additional content for on my phone. Glad to see it for my desktop. Beautiful and fun. The game itself is free and you can play well into it before you feel the need for the additional packages ($.99 each for two or three of them) to get all the extra weapons and such. Its fun either way and I find myself coming back to this one time and time again.

I see everyone complaining about hte in app purchases. Saying its impossible to pass without them. Although I havent passed it myself (im on mission 4) I say its a good experience trying to figure out the correct formation with buying other weapons. And If i were so dead focused on trying to get perfect in every round Id be much farther. I say quit complaining, the game is hard and requires you to actually use your brain instead of relying on sheer power For a free game thats rare.

It is a freeium game. the price for all of the upgrades is reasonable. I get addicted to this game all of the time.

This game is fun, a blast just to watch (which is something a tower defence game needs) with bubbly/squishy sound effects that make it friendly to the ears. However it does have some unfair difficulty spikes, levels you will have to play ten-fifteen times to get the right combination…. but otherwise a great whimsical game.

The Game is super fun and addictive!!! I want to buy the upgrades for the game but its not processing the request was wondering if you guys Hexage can look in to this for me so you guys can take my money :)

Cant stop playing, there has to be another way to beat this level, got to go back and try something different. This game is amazingly creative and fun to play, you choose the guns and their implacements, the tech and the strategy then watch the slotter. You have some options during the battle but you have to be fast and have the winnings to proceed.
